Rough Start To SCC North Play For Men's Hoops

The South Coast Conference North Division is already presenting problems for the Pasadena City College men's basketball team. The Lancers are off to an 0-2 start after Friday's 82-71 home loss v. Los Angeles Trade-Tech.

Men's Cagers 6-1 In Last 7 To Move Above .500 Mark

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team has fully recovered from a 1-5 start to the 2025-26 season by winning for the sixth time in its last seven contests. On Monday afternoon at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium, PCC improved to 8-7 overall by defeating Copper Mountain, 62-53.

Men's Hoops 3-Peat For Antelope Valley Tourney Title

For the third straight season, the Pasadena City College men's basketball team swept all three games and won the 8-team, bracketed Antelope Valley Gregg Anderson Tournament championship Dec. 5-7.

Men's Cagers Caught At Finish By Compton

The Pasadena City College men's basketball team led for almost the entire 40 minutes against visiting Compton on Tuesday. But it only matters if you are ahead at the finish and the Coyotes did just that carried by a put-back dunk by Ley McGovern with 21 seconds left to send the Lancers to the defeat, 56-53.

Nunes PCC Head Coaching Debut Is Memorable Upset Win For Men's Basketball

Preparing for his first game as Pasadena City College men's basketball interim head coach, Spenser Nunes had a big enough endeavor with the Lancers facing pre-season state #6-ranked San Bernardino Valley in the 2025-26 season opener. Except the veteran assistant coach from the past PCC three seasons got the added hurdle of having to go into surgery for an emergency appendectomy on Oct. 29.

Pasadena City College interim men's basketball head coach Spenser Nunes wanted his student-athletes to understand the role that first responders have today as well as honoring those that lost their lives many years ago on this the anniversary of 9/11. So today, his Lancers made a special visit to Los Angeles Fire Department Station 47.
